La Leona Waterfall hike

This is a  full day tour exploring off the beaten path in Curubande the outskirts of Rincon de la Vieja Volcano with your most friendly charismatic personal conchalfun guide soon to be best friend.  The day consists of a moderate 2-hour hike alongside the blue waters of Rio Blanco, with plenty oportunities to spot wild life and learn about the natural wonders you are observing. Once you get to La Leona waterfall, you can swim in the cool blue waters and take all your instagram and facebook pics to make your friends back home jelous.  Of course amazing typical lunch is provided to regain energy after this fun filled day.

This is for intermediate hikers and the tour involves swimming to the waterfall (life jackets provided). Contact us if any mobility issues or health concerns.

Pick Up/Drop Off: from your hotel lobby or villa/condo

What to Wear/Bring: Swim suit, towels, sunglasses, hats, water shoes, sunscreen, bug spray, dry clothes, snacks, etc

What Not to Bring:  Things of value that should not get wet or you’d be sad if they got lost (examples:  iPad; iWatch, car keys to a rental car; your passport).
