White Water Rafting

Costa Rica is well-known as the whitewater rafting capital of the world due to its abundant raging rivers and thriving adventure attitude! You won’t want to miss out on this quintessential Costa Rican activity while you’re at the beach! Go rafting rain or shine — you’re going to get wet anyway!

The Tenorio River is a beautiful river that winds its way through the Guanacaste mountain range along a deep, red-rock canyon surrounded by magnificent landscapes of low, tropical and dry forest.

We’ll pick you up from your hotel and drive about 2 hours until we arrive to the isolated, rustic Guanacaste backroads. The last portion will be in a 4×4 vehicle driving you to the base where friendly bilingual staff awaits your group.

After you get fitted for safety equipment; helmets, life jackets and paddles, experienced bilingual guides will brief you on safety. Following a short practice run, you will enjoy an amazing 2.5-hour rafting trip along the arid and impressive canyon of the Tenorio River in Costa Rica’s beautiful Guanacaste province.

You will experience 22 fun, exciting rapids along 20km of river, observe a variety fo wild life such as birds, iguanas and monkeys and enjoy a well deserved fresh fruit snack.

This unique rafting tour finishes with a super-exciting, 12-foot waterfall drop called “Cascabel Falls!” You may skip this last drop and walk around while watching the whole action.At the end of this exiting journey, you will hike to the 4×4 vehicle and drive out of this unspoiled Guanacaste region

The second best part is the delicious typical Costa Rican lunch served for you. Changing rooms are available and we will be on our way towards a beautiful Pacific coast sunset.
